This logo is a visual representation of my personal brand. I used a red clay color to reflect my excitement and passion for communication. The italicization of my initials and the arrows pointing forward symbolize progression, while the sans serif font provides an additional whisper of modernism. Finally, the two lines above and below the initials create a physical border as a symbol for controlled, strategic creativity.

I created a brand guideline as a reference for the design of my website, portfolio and other professional branding materials. The brand identity process started by searching for vibrant works from my favorite artists. From there, I aligned a brand voice, typography and logo to match the look and feel of my personality.

Three students and I created Epitome for our senior digital media capstone at Xavier University. This online project offers templates and informational one pagers for public relations, digital media, advertising and communication studies students. I interviewed professors, scoped textbooks, analyzed research papers and used my prior knowledge to tailor each study guide to the standards of Xavier University’s communication arts curriculum. The project is hosted on the university’s official website, so I carefully followed the university’s brand guidelines for color and typography in all materials and designs.
